At its heart, the DEORE group is a single chainring, 1×12 drivetrain. The Micro Spline hub interface allows for the huge 10-51 range all-steel cassette, which now features Hyperglide+ shifting ramps. In conjunction with a revamped chain, this offers super smooth and rapid shifting, both up and down. The RapidFire Plus shifter enables a two-way release for your gears. Up front, the rigid crankset’s chainring can be changed via direct mount, making for easy alterations of your setup. Further improvements ensure a superb chain retention, with the Dynamic Chain Engagement+ at its core. The derailleur clutch keeps the chain secure whilst the tooth profiles of the chainring combined with the refined chain chamfering and the large, 13-tooth pulley wheels keeps it quiet.

With its wider adjustment range, I-SPEC EV levers can be adjusted to the optimal position to match a wider range of riding styles (ENDURO/XC/etc.), rider preferences and rider anatomies (hand and arm alignment). I-SPEC EV increases brake lever rigidity by moving the brake clamp position inward to create an extra point of contact between the bar and the lever. This additional bracing drastically increases bike control and braking engagement while maintaining space between the clamp and support point for other handlebar accessories.
