The SHIMANO 105 10-speed group features many of the technological improvements of the DURA-ACE and ULTEGRA components, at a very attractive price thanks to the use of more economical materials and solutions.SHIMANO 105 Dual Control Levers ST-5700 (for Double and Compact cranksets) and ST-5703 (for Triple cranksets) feature cable routing underneath the handlebar tape, just like the DURA-ACE and ULTEGRA. They have been developed with a reach adjustment mechanism that will accommodate smaller hands and a wide assortment of bar bends. The brake lever pivot is located closer to the rider for an improved controllability, especially when riding with the hands on top of the hoods.

DCL – Dual Control Lever

DCL stands for Dual Control Lever. It has brake and shifting functions in the system and enables easy operation. Ergonomic innovation is probably more critical to the higher standard performance than the added gearing. New Structure DCL The DURA-ACE/ULTEGRA/105 Dual Control Lever have a new structure with features that include the lighter weight pivot section in the near side of the shifting unit and the integral shifting cable for lighter steering. Its many component parts are made so compact and precise to achieve unprecedented high-speed performance. The new DCL is literally the pivot component of the new dimension.

SLR-EV

SLR-EV is brand new SLR with dual symmetric pivot brake caliper. The short-arm brake design employs two bearings and a roller to realize greater efficiency in the pivot area and deliver superior modulation and power for braking. Together with the BC-9000 brake cable, the new calipers deliver 36% more braking power than SHIMANO’s previous brake model. And we offer 2 axle symmetric brake caliper and fork mount and chain stay mount type.
